The Story

Hotel Normandy is run by a Norwegian-French-Italian family. Michelle is running the day to day business with help from a very dedicated team. The style is residential and you can expect lots of colours, pillows, soft and cuddly tigers, family pictures & Prince Albert.

Michele found her big love in Dag her husband from Norway, the man who started one of the first discotheque in Norway and the first to import French fashion into Norway. There is an unpretentious, warm and cosy ambience in this little 16 bedroom family run hotel.

Along the coastal walk in Cap d’Ail you will see Monaco appearing at a distance, known for its Champagne, fast cars and cigar lifestyle. Cap d’Ail is a low key hidden pearl and has been frequented by aristocrats, artists and influential public figures like Winston Churchill and Greta Garbo. Amongst many of the beautiful villas in Cap d’Ail is the one of Tsar Nikolai II, built for his mistress and the famous belle époque villa of the Lumiere brothers, inventors of
the cinematograph.

Hotel Normandy is a bohemian, intimate and friendly hotel. It’s` not fancy or sterile, but an artistic space filled with good energy and loving people. The environment around and the incredible beach is worth a trip. The beach “Plage Mala” has a relaxing and exclusive
ambience and is in walking distance.
